Grant Details
About:
Nordstrom is committed to supporting communities where their customers and employees live and work. They offer Community Grants to eligible non-profit organizations focused on providing basic needs (education, health care, or human services) to youth and their families.
Education
- Literacy - Until third grade, you learn to read—after third grade, you read to learn. Because of this, literacy is a key part of our education focus.
- Early Childhood Development - Supporting our younger youth in development and educational access.
- High School Readiness + GraduationPreparing students for high school and life after graduation.
Health Care
- Preventative Care - Providing preventative care to youth and their families.
- Supportive Health Services - Ensuring that youth and their families are supported if a child requires long-term treatment.
Human Services
- Food - If children are hungry, they can't focus on learning. Lack of food and proper nutrients can also lead to health issues.
